Job Summary
- We are seeking a passionate and innovative Landscape Designer and Architect to join our team.
- As our Landscape Architect, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, & selling outdoor spaces that reflect precision, beauty, & long-term value.
- You will guide clients from initial consultation through design approval and project handoff.
- Design custom residential and commercial projects
- Conduct client consultations and site evaluations
- Prepare design presentations, layouts, and plant selections
- Collaborate with internal operations teams for project feasibility
- Price and present design/build proposals to clients
- Close sales and manage the design portion of awarded projects
- Maintain Design standards
- Develop comprehensive landscape designs using advanced software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, and MicroStation to create detailed plans and visualizations.
- Assist in landscape maintenance planning by recommending ongoing care strategies for plant health and landscape aesthetics post-installation.
- Proven experience in landscape architecture or design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Civil 3D, Revit, Adobe Photoshop & Creative Suite for drafting and visual presentations.
- Knowledge of GIS platforms like ArcView and ArcGIS for land analysis and environmental assessment.
- Familiarity with construction processes including estimating costs, managing project timelines, and coordinating with contractors on hardscape installation.
- Strong understanding of horticulture practices alongside landscaping techniques to ensure healthy plant growth and sustainable landscapes.
- Experience with land surveying methods and civil engineering principles relevant to site development projects.
- Ability to utilize MicroStation or Civil 3D for detailed drafting work related to infrastructure integration.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
