- Manage client relationships and document communications in Litify
- Communicate with opposing counsel
- Participate actively in discovery and motion practice
- Take and defend depositions
- Conduct full case investigations and document findings
- Attend depositions, hearings, conferences, interviews, and trials
- Perform legal research and identify applicable laws
- Interview and depose witnesses and parties
- Participate in mediations
- Prepare cases for trial and try a minimum of 3 cases per year
- Advocate at trial and counsel clients post-settlement
- Lead weekly calendar meetings with assigned paralegal
- Submit quarterly reporting of fees earned
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
- Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California
- Trial experience in the personal injury field required
- Ability to manage 50 litigation cases efficiently
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Litify
- Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
