The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical expertise, and a proven ability to maintain exceptional service standards. This role involves overseeing installation, maintenance, and repair operations while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair projects to ensure timely completion and quality standards.
- Provide guidance and training to service technicians on HVAC design, plumbing, refrigeration, and equipment repair best practices.
- Review schematics and blueprints to assess project requirements and ensure proper system implementation.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex HVAC issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment.
- Collaborate with relevant teams on property maintenance tasks related to air conditioning, boilers, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment used, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and team leadership.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration, and boiler operations.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints related to HVAC design.
- Background as a service technician with skills in appliance repair and field service operations.
- Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is an advantage.
- Welding skills for equipment repair or installation are a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and experience troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
