HVAC Project Manager

Seeking a dynamic, results-driven HVAC Sales Project Manager to join our growing team. This role combines expertise in HVAC systems, project management, and sales leadership to drive the successful design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC solutions for our clients. The HVAC Sales Project Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project estimates, proposals, and budgets, coordinating with cross-functional teams and subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

• Drive business efforts through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship-building with commercial and industrial clients.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and company goals. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, estimates, and presentations for HVAC projects, including system design, equipment selection, and installation plans.
• Identify and assess customer needs to propose customized HVAC solutions that align with project requirements and budget constraints.
• Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and service agreements with clients to secure project commitments.
  
  

Project Management

• Oversee the full lifecycle of HVAC projects from initial sales to project completion, ensuring adherence to budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates, and monitor progress throughout the project's lifecycle.
• Coordinate with engineers, installers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
• Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, budgets, and project reports.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and building codes.
  
  

Customer Relationship Management

• Foster long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business, upselling opportunities, and referrals.
• Provide post-installation support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and address any service or maintenance needs.
• Identify opportunities for value-added services or system upgrades to improve client satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  
  

Team Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with internal teams, including engineers, service technicians, millwrights, and administrative staff, to ensure effective project execution.
• Mentor and support junior team members, offering guidance on technical aspects and sales strategies.
• Attend project meetings, industry conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on HVAC trends and best practices.
  
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Trade HVAC design school degree, or a related field expertise is preferred. Relevant certifications (e.g., P.E., E.I.T., HVAC certifications) are a plus.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in HVAC sales, project management, or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
• Experience in both commercial and industrial HVAC systems preferred.

Physical Demands

• Ability to occasionally visit job sites, including construction areas, which may require walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to travel as required for client meetings, site inspections, and project oversight.
