Family Medicine Physician

Job Summary

• We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to join a compassionate, close-knit team in Scituate, Rhode Island.

• The practice is designed to allow physicians to focus on patient care, with 30-minute appointment slots, a reduced patient panel size, and an expected patient volume of approximately 14 patients per day.

• The physician will provide primary care to a diverse patient population, establish long-term relationships with patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• This is a long-term opportunity within a supportive, family-like practice environment with minimal bureaucracy and a strong focus on the patient-provider relationship.

• Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to a diverse patient population.

• Build and maintain long-term relationships with patients and families.

• Provide patient-centered medical care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Coordinate patient care as needed.

• Provide patient education.

• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

• Participate in a collaborative practice environment.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree.

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency training.

• Must have completed a U.S.-based residency program.

• Board certification or board eligibility required.

• Active Rhode Island medical license required.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Commitment to patient-centered care.

• Interest in a long-term, community-based practice.

• No minimum number of years of experience required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $230,000-$260,000 per year

• Additional compensation for on-call coverage

Schedule

• Monday-Friday

• 8:30 AM-5:00 PM

• 40 hours per week

• Approximately 14 patients per day

• On-call rotation approximately once every 12-14 weeks
