An established law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Associate to join its Labor and Employment practice. The attorney will handle a wide range of labor and employment matters, along with some general litigation defense matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

An established law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Law Associate to join its Labor and Employment practice. The attorney will handle a wide range of labor and employment matters, along with some general litigation defense matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Handle labor and employment matters from inception through resolution.
- Defend employment-related claims and litigation.
- Handle liability claims, insurance defense, and/or complex litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Respond to and manage written discovery.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Participate in arbitrations and trials.
- Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses and briefs.
- Manage multiple matters while maintaining strong organization and attention to detail.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably with a focus on employment/labor law defense.
- Experience defending labor and employment claims.
- Experience with liability claims, insurance defense, and/or complex litigation preferred.
- Demonstrated experience drafting pleadings, responding to written discovery, taking depositions, and participating in arbitrations and/or trials.
- Excellent academic credentials.
- Strong research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Active admission and good standing in both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars is required.
- Must be able to work from one of the firm's Pennsylvania or New Jersey offices.
Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
