Specializes in highly customized security solutions for our correctional, government and commercial customers. Are you tired of living out of your service van? This position is a unique blend of time in the office configuring and prototyping systems and time at customer locations providing, system installation, system commissioning, system troubleshooting and customer education. Seeking applicants that have a detailed knowledge of security electronics hardware including, door locks and sensors, cameras and video recording systems and access control systems.

- Install, terminate, test, and commission security electronics equipment, including, access control systems, analog and IP video systems, intelligent locking systems, network switches, audio communications systems and PLC-based touchscreen control systems
- Configure IP cameras, VMS systems and Access Control Systems
- Install raceway and cable
- Assist and work with other electronic technicians, engineers and subcontractors.
- Perform maintenance/service on installed equipment at customer facilities
- Be willing and able to learn new systems, technologies and products
- Ability to be adaptable, flexible and work well in a team setting
- Complete assigned projects from start to finish
- High School Diploma and 2-year technical associates degree (preferred)
- Proficient with Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office software products
- Skilled in working with common hand tools, power tools, multi-meters and cable testing equipment
- Previous experience installing security devices such as Card Readers, Cameras, Request to Exit devices and their associated cable/conductors
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems
- Experience configuring security equipment such as IP based Cameras and Video Management Systems
- Functional Requirements· Applicant must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Applicant will be subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Day and overnight travel
- Must be able to climb ladders and lift items up to 75lbs
