Electrical Estimator

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a growing preconstruction team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, developing competitive bids, and collaborating with project managers, clients, and vendors to support successful project delivery. The position also includes coordination and handoff support for project execution.Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and bid documentsPerform detailed electrical takeoffs in accordance with contract requirementsPrepare accurate cost estimates, proposals, scope letters, and bid formsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with material vendors and subcontractorsRequest, review, and validate vendor and subcontractor pricingMaintain working knowledge of NEC requirements and environmental factorsAssist with budget pricing and preconstruction planningAttend pre-bid meetings as requiredCoordinate project handoff from estimating to project managementCommunicate effectively with clients, vendors, foremen, and internal teamsRequired Skills & Qualifications3 years of experience in electrical estimating (commercial and/or industrial projects)Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and estimating processesExperience with electrical estimating software (Accubid preferred)Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentBenefitsCompetitive salaryHealth, dental, vision, and prescription drug insurance401(k) with company matchingRetirement and profit-sharing plansPaid time offProfessional development assistancePerformance-based incentives and bonuses
