Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing and clinical operations of the ASC, including two cardiac cath labs and eight recovery bays
- Ensure ongoing compliance with AAAASF accreditation standards and CMS regulatory requirements
- Lead Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Improvement (QI), and Infection Control programs
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow
- Collaborate with physicians and the Medical Director to optimize clinical outcomes and procedural efficiency
- Provide leadership in staffing, scheduling, and resource utilization
- Support strategic oversight of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control related to nursing and clinical services
- Partner with administrative leadership on vendor management, supply chain operations, and inventory controls
- Monitor performance metrics and prepare operational and compliance reports
- Ensure accurate documentation, policy adherence, and regulatory readiness
- Serve as a liaison with governing bodies, accreditation agencies, and community partners
- Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - Required
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) - Preferred
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- BLS and ACLS certifications - Required
- 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience in an ASC setting (mandatory)
- Cardiac or cath lab experience strongly preferred
- Experience maintaining AAAASF accreditation and CMS compliance
- Proven leadership in QA/QI initiatives and infection control
- Demonstrated experience with staffing, scheduling, and clinical operations
- Business office and financial exposure in an ASC environment preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Working knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality programs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
