Job Description

  • The Change Manager is responsible for leading and implementing organizational change initiatives, ensuring that changes are adopted smoothly and effectively across the business.
  • This role focuses on both the people and process sides of change, with a strong emphasis on communication strategy, stakeholder engagement, and minimizing resistance.
  • The Change Manager will work closely with project teams, leadership, and impacted stakeholders to drive successful transformation outcomes.
  • Develop and Execute Change Strategies
  • Design and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage while minimizing resistance.
  • Integrate change management activities into overall project plans and collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Impact Assessment
  • Identify and analyze stakeholders affected by change, tailoring communications and engagement plans to their needs.
  • Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and develop actionable plans to address risks and resistance.
  • Communications Leadership
  • Develop, deliver, and manage clear, consistent, and timely communications about change initiatives.
  • Craft key messages, FAQs, and communication materials for various audiences, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Enable the design, development, and delivery of communications that support change adoption and address concerns proactively.
  • Training and Support
  • Provide input and support for the design and delivery of training programs related to change initiatives.
  • Coach managers and supervisors to help their teams navigate transitions effectively.
  • Monitor and Measure Change Adoption
  • Define and track success metrics, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to ensure sustained adoption and benefit realization.
  • Gather feedback and share learnings with the wider team to continuously improve change management practices.
  • Key responsibilities include building and executing change strategies, stakeholder engagement, change impact assessments, readiness and adoption planning, communications, training, and leadership alignment across complex, cross-functional programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in Change Management; Supply Chain experience is highly desirable.
  • 5 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or communications.
  • Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci), and tools.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive engagement at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation projects is highly desirable.

  • Communication planning and execution skills (impact assessments, readiness, testing prep, adoption), not just methodology ownership
  • Project management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with global, multi-cultural, and multi-language teams.
  • Strong collaboration skills across stakeholders at various levels.
  • Technical Business Analyst (BA) experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with change frameworks such as Prosci / ADKAR (certification viewed as a plus)
  • A professional digital profile.

Eligibility begins on the 1st day of the calendar month following 60 days of continuous full time employment with Synectics.401(k) Plan: The Synectics Inc. Investment Savings Retirement Plan. Synectics offers all employees who are 21 years of age or older the opportunity to invest in the 401(k) Plan on the first enrollment date that is at least 30 days after employment begins. Enrollment dates are each January 1st, April 1st, July 1st, and October 1st.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
