Roles & Responsibilities
- Advise employers on the design, implementation, and compliance of qualified and non-qualified retirement plans.
- Handle Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) transactions and related documentation.
- Represent clients in IRS audits and Department of Labor (DOL) investigations.
- Draft plan documents, amendments, summary plan descriptions, and related agreements.
- Manage multiple client matters efficiently while maintaining strong interpersonal communication.
- 3 years of experience in Employee Benefits/ERISA law.
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and Internal Revenue Code requirements.
- Experience with ESOP transactions and executive compensation arrangements.
- Excellent drafting skills for legal documents and agreements.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and clients.
