SSI is seeking a Program Manager to join our team in support of efforts based in the Patuxent River, MD area. The successful candidate will work across all disciplines supporting fielded missiles programs.

- Provides engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the logistics engineering discipline
- Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
- Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
Specific tasking will include but is not limited to:
- Assists in the technical planning of work across all disciplines
- Manage Cost Schedule and Performance
- Manage team of approximately 20 FTEs
- Support business growth for the PAX Area
Required Education:
- MA/MS degree or BA/BS 2 extra years
Required Experience:
- 7 years performing duties described in posted Role and Responsibilities listed above.
- NAVAIR and PMA experience is required.
- Must exhibit expert level commination skills as this role involves communicating to senior levels of leadership, internal and external to SSI.
- Must be able to assess, apply, and recommend improvements to established business processes; and can balance priorities to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment.
- Must be highly proficient Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).
- Must be a self-starter and be able to lead meetings.
- An active secret level security clearance is required. Applicant should be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
