Our challenge
We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Fullstack Developer with a strong proficiency in Java, Angular, Kafka, and Python to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure web applications. This role requires a balanced expertise in both frontend and backend technologies, along with experience in messaging systems and scripting to support complex business requirements.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Irving, TX/Tampa, FL is $110k - $125k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (50%) and Angular (50%) frameworks.
- Build and optimize backend services and microservices leveraging Java, Kafka for messaging, and Python where applicable.
- Develop dynamic and responsive user interfaces with Angular, ensuring excellent user experience.
- Integrate and manage Kafka messaging systems for real-time data processing and communication.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and QA teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and security best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
- Implement automated testing and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly to ensure system reliability.
- Stay updated with emerging frameworks, tools, and best practices; recommend innovative solutions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Java EE) and Angular (v8 or higher).
- Hands-on experience with Kafka for messaging and streaming.
- Proficiency in Python scripting and related frameworks/libraries.
- Experience in designing RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred skills:
- Understanding of DevOps practices and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of other front-end frameworks or libraries.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to data streaming, real-time analytics, or big data technologies.
