Our challenge
We are seeking highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with SEC 15c3-1 reporting to join our team.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York City is $150k - $160k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
Design and develop robust ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake data warehouse.
Optimize and maintain Snowflake data models to ensure high performance and scalability.
Support and enhance regulatory reporting processes, including SEC 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 compliance.
Collaborate with Finance and Regulatory teams to support financial reconciliations and FP&A data integration.
Develop dashboards, reports, and user interfaces for business users and regulatory reporting.
Ensure data quality, integrity, controls, and optimal performance across data systems.
Assist with audits and regulatory examinations by documenting data lineage and maintaining comprehensive data documentation.
Requirements:
You are:
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data querying and manipulation.
- Proficiency with Python for data processing and automation.
- Extensive experience with Snowflake data platform and Unix/Linux environments.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing ETL workflows and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data governance, quality controls, and performance tuning.
Plus/Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SEC 15c3-1 reporting and FOCUS reports.
- Familiarity with Axiom Regulatory Reporting system or similar regulatory reporting tools.
- Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Qlik or Sigma Computing.
- Prior involvement with regulatory audits and maintaining data lineage documentation.
