Our challenge

We are seeking a talented and experienced Java Full Stack Developer equipped with strong Angular skills to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions..

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Pittsburgh, PA is $110k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain robust backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces with Angular.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to deliver seamless applications.
• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs.
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration/delivery processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• 10 years of professional software development experience with Java/J2ee.
• Java 21, 17 – Core development language
• Spring Framework / Spring Boot / Spring Webflux/ Spring Security/ Spring Batch – Dependency injection, REST APIs, microservices, Reactive programming
• Spring Cloud – Distributed systems patterns
• Hibernate / JPA /Spring Data Mongo DB– ORM and data persistence
• RESTful APIs – Service integration and communication
• Angular 19, Rxjs, – SPA frameworks for UI development
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript / TypeScript – Core web technologies
• Oracle – Relational databases
• MongoDB/ Elastic Search – NoSQL databases
• Proven experience as a Lead Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Java and Angular.
• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or others.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Understanding of Docker, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools (preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
