Our Challenge:

We are looking for a seasoned Java L3 Production Support to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing enterprise-grade applications while providing high-level support for complex production issues. The role involves a balance of coding, troubleshooting, and communication with various stakeholders.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Piscataway, NJ is $110K-120K/year & benefits (see below).

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operational aspects for client’s application support engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer stakeholders, and other vendor teams.
• Incident & Problem Management: Oversee L3 troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and permanent bug fixes for business-critical applications.
• Ensure complex incidents are resolved, SLA compliance is maintained, and system stability is driven by automation
• Drive continuous service improvement by implementing intelligent automation, GenAI tools, and proactive monitoring to reduce incident volumes
• Create or execute work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs or requirements
• Work cross-functionally to identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
• Effectively apply project management methodology and enforce quality standards
• Effectively facilitate scheduled client meetings
• Make use of new and emerging technologies and practices for potential application in client’s IT environments

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in IT services, consulting, or technology delivery, preferably in IT production support (L2/L3)
• Experience with Java full stack, Spring Boot, React, Microservices and AWS
• Strong domain expertise in Retirement Services, including 401(k), retirement recordkeeping, benefits administration, or wealth and retirement platforms.
• Proven track record of stakeholder management and client engagement.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications are a plus.
