Lab Technician (3rd Shift)

The job involves performing routine analytical testing in a 24/7 laboratory environment, providing data for various purposes including process and quality control.

This is a third shift role. Hours are 10:30pm-6:30am Mon-Fri

This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity for extensions

Pays up to $25.17/hr., depending on experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and analyzing samples using analytical equipment (pH meters, density meters, viscometers, etc.)
• Operating laboratory information systems
• Accurate record-keeping
• Compliance with ISO standards
• Daily instrument calibrations
• Maintaining safety practices.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of hazardous waste regulations
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to troubleshoot instrument issues
• A background in chemical analyses
• 4-6 years of experience is preferred
• Basic knowledge of HPLC and GC operations.
• Flexible with shifts, including some overtime as the business needs.
• High School Diploma requires, associate's degree preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
