Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time role based in Kokomo, IN partnering with operational leaders to lead and coordinate HR day-to-day activities including but not limited to: recruitment, training, onboarding, new employee orientation, off boarding, engagement and recognition programs. This position will also plan, direct and implement organization safety programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident–free work environment, as well as ensure complete compliance with OSHA standards to maintain a safe and healthy workplace.
Qualifications
- 2 years demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and HR policy implementation.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations and experience ensuring HR practices remain compliant at federal, state, and local levels.
- Skills in talent acquisition and workforce planning, including recruiting, interviewing, selecting, and onboarding team members.
- Strong communication, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills to build trust and support collaboration across teams.
- Ability to analyze HR data, prepare reports, and use HRIS or related systems to manage employee information and support decision-making.
- Experience designing or supporting training, development, and engagement initiatives that enhance employee performance and retention.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (such as SHRM-CP or PHR) is preferred.
- Prior HR management or progressive HR generalist experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or a similar industry.
