What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solderer position at Syncron EMS?
Seeking experienced solderers with a proven background working to industry standards. Role is responsible for building, assembling, and soldering PCBs and electronic assemblies.
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform hand soldering of surface mount and thru-hole components to IPC-610, IPC-620 and other applicable industry standards.
- Inspect solder joints, component placement, and overall workmanship quality.
- Report problems with product quality, manufacturing processes, and materials to management.
- Assemble piece parts into a final product using manual and electrical tools
- Functional test of assemblies and box build units using various electronic equipment
- Provide hands on training to coworkers
- Any other reasonable tasks necessary
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of electronic soldering experience, or current IPC certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency soldering through-hole and surface-mount components during interview process.
- Communication skills in English are required.
- Read and understand blueprints and engineering documentation (ex. schematics, assembly drawings, and component specifications) including workmanship standards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs.
- May be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach within arm’s length, stoop, kneel and crouch
- Ability to perform repetitive hand-tool and soldering operations.
Salary : $16 - $19
