Qualifications
Job SummaryAn OP Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of a pharmacy. They manage and optimize processes, ensure efficient resource allocation, monitor performance, and implement strategies to improve productivity and profitability. The OP Manager also supervises staff, resolves issues, and collaborates with other departments to achieve organizational goals. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
Roles and Responsibilities• Manages technicians, prepare schedules, and review staffing levels.• Manages the floor technicians day to day work load by communicating leading and supporting them.• Ensures workflow processes for departments are running efficiently.• Identifies operational areas of opportunity that prevent goal achievement.• Establishes and manages departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.• Oversees and manages training processes in addition to the evaluation of current staff.• Reviews performance data to measure productivity and inefficiencies for departments.• Oversees the health and functionality of software, hardware, and system utilities, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.• Maintains accurate and detailed reports and records.• Supports facilities, departmental goals, and the overall objectives of the Company.• Assists with recruitment and retention of employees.• Other duties as assigned.
QualificationsEducation: BS or PharmD Experience: 5-8 years
Licenses and CertificationsValid and Active Indiana Pharmacist License
Physical RequirementsSitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 30lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
