Duties
- Assist with daily animal husbandry tasks including feeding, watering, grooming, and monitoring animal health.
- Support crop growing activities by managing irrigation systems, planting, harvesting, and greenhouse maintenance.
- Perform general farm maintenance including fencing repairs, equipment cleaning, and facility upkeep.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks required for moving supplies or materials around the farm.
- Supervise or collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, equipment repair, welding, and general maintenance is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with farming practices including irrigation systems, horticulture, greenhouse work, and growing techniques.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or feeding schedules.
- Willingness to learn is of the greatest importance as we are willing to train.
Pay: $16.50 - $21.50 per hour
