Synchron is seeking qualified candidates to support the Navy’s Deputy Chief of Naval Operations for Warfighting Development (OPNAV N7). OPNAV N7 is charged with advancing Navy Warfighting advantage in order to deter, dissuade, and deny or defeat adversaries. OPNAV N7’s mission and functions follow three broad, interrelated lines of effort supported by a digital platform: warfighter development, warfare development, and warfighting corps development. Through these lines of effort, OPNAV N7 will enhance individual learning; accelerate institutional learning; and broaden and deepen our warfighting knowledge to help the Navy overcome strategic challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Support the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of the OPNAV N7 KM architecture, programs, policies, and governance using modern business practice sand technologies that comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- Work across multiple projects; assisting the development of community strategies in conjunction with stakeholders, including helping to identify community objectives,
- addressing problems, and the creation of value by developing a community roadmap to action for key activities, milestones, and resources required.
- Perform specialized information research to support initiatives for records storage and integrated knowledge management with organizational management systems, student information systems, SharePoint, and organizational web sites.
- Provide assistance and instruction to end users on organizational KM systems, databases, and software. Develop and execute training for the staff and clients to help them access the knowledge management tools.
- Other tasks as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Organizational Learning, Knowledge Management, Public Administration, or fields related to the practice area OR Bachelor’s degree in a non-related field plus two (2) years direct DoD knowledge management experience; or High School diploma and five (5) years direct DoD knowledge management experience.
Additional Experience Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience of knowledge and collaboration platform best practices, principles and emerging technologies.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint, Office 365, content management systems, and web technologies.
- Must have an active Secret security clearance and able to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three or more recent years in DoD Knowledge Management
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
