Marketing Intern

Description

The primary role of this position is to support the marketing team with campaign execution, content creation, and market research. The intern will gain hands-on experience in a collaborative environment while learning key skills across digital marketing, branding, and communication.

We are seeking candidates that are located within 50-miles of our office in Morrisville, N.C. as this is a hybrid position.

Core Responsibilities

• Create and edit marketing content across blogs, email campaigns, social media, and website updates.
• Support campaign execution and assist in tracking key performance metrics using internal and external tools.
• Conduct research on competitors and market trends to support content planning and strategy development.
• Organize and maintain digital marketing assets, including images, templates, and campaign files.
• Participate in team and cross-departmental meetings to gain insight into marketing operations and strategy.
  Assist in planning and coordinating digital events, including webinars and podcasts.
• Monitor social media platforms for engagement trends and compile weekly performance summaries.
• Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Agorapulse, etc.) to track campaign performance and prepare basic reports.
• Support day-to-day marketing operations and team coordination.
  
  

Education, Experience, Specialized and Preferred Skills

Education Level: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Experience Level: No prior experience required; relevant coursework or extracurricular activities preferred.

Specialized Skills, Certificates, Licenses: None required

Preferred Skills: Eagerness to learn, creative thinking, and basic understanding of social media marketing. Interest in writing is a plus but not required.
