Social Media Marketing Coordinator - Part Time


Role Overview

The Social Media Marketing Coordinator at SYNC Performance is a part-time role responsible for supporting the planning, creation, and execution of SYNC’s social media and digital marketing efforts. This is a hands-on role for a creative and organized marketer who understands storytelling, content, and community building.


This role will help grow brand awareness, strengthen community engagement, and support product and campaign launches across social platforms. The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the SYNC team to execute content calendars, support campaign development, analyze performance, and help ensure brand consistency across channels.


This role reports directly to the Senior Digital Content Manager and supports broader brand and growth initiatives.


Core Responsibilities


Social Media Management & Execution

  • Support day-to-day management of SYNC social channels including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging platforms
  • Schedule and publish content aligned with the brand
  • Write social copy and assist in creating compelling captions, posts, and campaign messaging
  • Monitor community engagement, respond to messages/comments, and help foster audience growth
  • Support content distribution across platforms in ways optimized for each channel

Content Coordination & Campaign Support

  • Assist in planning and executing product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns across social channels
  • Coordinate content needs with internal team members, athletes, and ambassadors
  • Help source, organize, and repurpose photo/video assets for ongoing content needs
  • Support creation and management of short-form video, UGC initiatives, and campaign storytelling
  • Identify opportunities to support brand growth through trends, collaborations, and new formats

Performance & Growth Support

  • Track social performance metrics and help report on engagement, growth, and campaign results
  • Support testing and optimization of content formats, posting strategies, and audience engagement tactics
  • Contribute ideas for growing reach, improving performance, and driving brand awareness
  • Assist with athlete ambassador outreach and partnership coordination as needed

Brand & Marketing Support

  • Ensure social content aligns with SYNC brand voice and creative standards
  • Contribute ideas to content planning, campaign brainstorming, and marketing execution
  • Support special projects related to community growth and digital marketing initiatives


Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, or related experience
  • Strong understanding of major social platforms and current content trends
  • Experience creating or coordinating social content, especially short-form video, is a must
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently in a fast-moving environment
  • Passion for sport, outdoor culture, and a background in ski racing is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with social scheduling, analytics, and creative tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Canva, Adobe, etc.) preferred

  • Content calendars are executed consistently and on schedule
  • Social engagement and audience growth are supported through strong execution
  • Campaign launches and initiatives are supported with high attention to detail
  • Reporting and insights contribute to ongoing optimization and growth
  • Brand voice and content quality are maintained across channels


Employment Details

This is a part-time, remote role. Compensation for this position is $15,000–$20,000 annually, based on experience and scope.
