Job Summary:
The Electrical Apprentice supports the installation and maintenance of electrical systems under the guidance of Electrical Journeymen and Foremen. This role focuses on learning the trade through hands-on experience and technical training.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems.
- Run wiring, install conduit, and set up electrical equipment as directed.
- Support the testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean worksite.
- Participate in classroom and on-the-job training to develop technical skills.
Education and/or Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enrollment in or completion of an electrical apprenticeship program.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools.
- Strong willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various environments.
