Overview
We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Sr. Director, Product Management to lead the wireless product line within our Wireless Products Division. This senior leadership role owns the product line strategy, roadmap, and financial performance, driving business growth through innovative wireless connectivity solutions. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in the wireless connectivity and IoT markets, a strong technical foundation, and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams from concept through commercialization. This position reports to the VP, Product Marketing.
The typical base pay range for this position is USD $207,000 - $326,700 per year. Individual pay is determined by many factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual performance bonus, equity, and other benefits. Note that compensation listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, equity, or benefits.

Job Duties
- Define and execute the strategic product roadmap for the wireless product line, aligning with division and company objectives
- Own the product line P&L, overseeing revenue growth, pricing strategy, forecasting, and financial performance in partnership with Finance
- Translate customer needs, market trends, and technology evolution into actionable product strategies and requirements
- Partner closely with Engineering to drive product definition, architecture, and development, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Product Marketing to ensure effective go-to-market execution, launch readiness, and lifecycle management
- Drive portfolio optimization, managing new product introductions, cost improvements, and end-of-life transitions
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering technical depth, strategic alignment, and operational excellence
- Engage directly with customers, ecosystem partners, and key stakeholders to identify opportunities, shape roadmap priorities, and strengthen relationships
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership on business performance, competitive landscape, and market opportunities
- Strategic and analytical thinking; ability to connect market insight to product vision and execution
- Strong technical understanding of wireless connectivity (BT/BLE, Wi-Fi, Thread, etc.) and semiconductor product development processes
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality products on time and within budget
- Ability to motivate a diverse team of engineers: Achieves focus on key priorities, provides clear direction, delegates, actively communicates, and coaches

- Excellent communication that is clear, concise, and compelling
- Experienced at working effectively across multiple levels of an organization and building successful cross functional partnerships
- Bachelor’s degree (or Masters) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 15 years of experience in the semiconductor or IoT industry, with at least 7 years in product management leadership roles
- Proven record of driving business growth and managing complex product portfolios
- Deep understanding of wireless connectivity technologies (Wireless, Thread, Matter), system design, and market dynamics
- Experience leading cross-functional product development and go-to-market initiatives from concept through lifecycle management
- Demonstrated track record of analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and developing plans that are executable
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
- This role will involve regular travel up to 50% to customers and between Synaptics sites
