We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Image Annotation Specialist to join our Miami team and help train our machine learning models.
Role Overview:
As an Image Annotation Specialist, you will label and annotate images and video frames used to train AI models. You will work with real-world aviation data, identifying and precisely marking objects within complex airport environments.
This role requires strong focus, consistency, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Annotate images and video frames using bounding boxes
- Identify and label objects such as:
- Ground support equipment (belt loaders, tugs, carts, etc.)
- Vehicles and machinery
- Personnel and safety-related objects
- Follow detailed annotation guidelines and maintain consistency
- Perform quality checks on annotations to ensure accuracy
- Meet daily and weekly annotation targets
- Collaborate with the team to improve labeling processes
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail (this is critical)
- Ability to stay focused on repetitive tasks with high accuracy
- Reliable and consistent work ethic
- Basic computer skills and comfort working with web-based tools
- Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely
- Good communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with annotation tools (e.g., CVAT, Labelbox, Supervisely)
- Prior experience in data labeling, QA, or similar roles
- Familiarity with computer vision concepts (bounding boxes, object detection)
- Interest in AI, technology, or aviation
