The organization also offers neurologist consultations, tailored treatment plans, psychological evaluations, in-home TBI treatment programs, on-site neuro-rehabilitation/physical therapy services, and comprehensive life care plans.
Role Description
We are looking for a Spanish-Speaking Neurologist for contract hybrid work covering all of Florida, with emphasis in Tampa, West Palm, and Miami territories. The Neurologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with traumatic brain injuries, mild traumatic brain injuries, post-concussion syndrome, epilepsy, and movement disorders. The role involves conducting neurological exams, interpreting EEGs, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care, and developing customized treatment or rehabilitation plans. The Neurologist will also provide consultations and work closely with patients to improve their quality of life.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Neurology, including the diagnosis and treatment of Traumatic Brain Injuries, Mild Traumatic Brain Injuries, and Post-Concussion Syndrome
- Proficient knowledge in Epilepsy management and care of patients with Movement Disorders
- Ability to perform and interpret EEGs and other neurological diagnostic tests
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create effective patient care strategies in a multidisciplinary setting
- Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification or eligibility in Neurology
- State licensure to practice medicine in Florida
- Experience in treating TBI patients or specialized training in neuro-rehabilitation is preferred
