Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Lead to drive backend development and lead technical teams for enterprise-grade applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Java, modern frameworks, and proven leadership experience managing teams and delivering large-scale solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of Java developers
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable backend systems
- Review code, enforce coding standards, and ensure best practices
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders
- Oversee application architecture and technical decision-making
- Perform performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 12 years of overall IT experience
- 3 years of experience in a Technical Lead or Team Lead role
- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot, Microservices
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Web Services, and SOA architecture
- Strong experience with Hibernate / JPA
- Experience with messaging systems like Kafka / JMS
- Strong experience with SQL / NoSQL databases
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience working in BFSI / Banking domain (JPMC environment preferred)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)
- CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
