Position Summary:
The Field Product Monitor will perform and record daily temperature and other conditions of heat-dried biosolids product stored in the field and advise management of indications of heating or other problematic conditions observed.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily visits to fields for quality checks to:
- Monitor and record product pile temperatures.
- Observe and document any potential environmental or health concerns, such as runoff.
- Monitor and report on pellet spreading activities.
- Accurately input all daily observations and temperature recordings into the designated tracking system.
- Report elevated product temperatures immediately to the appropriate internal and external contacts, including management, mitigation partners, and site operators.
- Submit a daily activity report to the manager.
- Prepare and deliver a weekly summary report outlining all site visits, key observations, and any issues encountered.
- Maintain internal documentation summaries of all field site notifications.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to perform field-based tasks, including temperature monitoring of stockpiles.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to recognize and report field-related issues promptly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in outdoor conditions.
