Your role
A. RCT (Request Coordination Team)
* Daily check of new Requests and reply to Sales in case of missing/unclear information
* Chair of daily Allocation morning meeting to receive & assign
* Answering of FS Collection/Portfolio selection Requests
* Recommendation out of existing Portfolio to support portfolio-application or creative/specific process (proposal of 6-digit products and similar)
* Provide support to Sales for questions prior to creating a request
* Continuous optimization of Portfolio in cooperation with Category, Portfolio update and upgrade
* Establishment of the collections (flavor collection, country collection, restrictions) in cooperation with Category
* Data maintenance for product status and product reservations
* Monitor KPI for continuous improvement
* Participate in Lessons Learned sessions to analyze wins and losses
(Coordinate best RCT practices and implementing changes) 45%
B. Responsible for Off-Shelf submissions using FS, CC and CR status from the Focus II
* Sales Collection system for all three BU's (Food, Beverage and Health) and some international Symrise affiliates. Provide flavor suggestions to Innovation group and Application teams when necessary
* Make customer reservations (CR status) when needed in Focus II (Sales Collection System) to establish flavor submission history 20%
C. Assist the Category Leads to build and manage a "Winning" Flavor Sales Collection
* Interact with the Innovation group to evaluate monthly new flavor creations to be considered for addition to the Sales Collection
* Maintain Focus II:
1. Screen flavors in appropriate food/beverage mediums and record the results, ensuring our flavor collection meets the requirements of our focus categories and customers' requirements
2. Create, Build and Maintain or update relevant product catalogs
3. Organize evaluation sessions
4. Change status of the flavor in the system
* Analyze gaps within the flavor portfolio with the Category Directors and Sensory
* Establish a robust KPI system for portfolio performance. 15%
D. Coordinate and maintain the Sales Collection with the Innovation group, BU's and Sensory, looking for opportunities to
* Create spreadsheet of all FS, CC and CR for Innovation Group to review
* Review sales and sample history with Innovation group
* Change status of the flavors that are eliminated in Focus II
* Order flavors from the Sample Lab
* Pre-screen flavors
* Organize panels for evaluation
* Define portfolio gaps & define flavors to be added to the Sales Collection with the Category Directors and Sensory.
* Update the results within Focus II 15%
E. Add appropriate information within Symcom
* Flavor reservation for first time production alert and restricted messages (Strict Blockade) communicated from Customer Care.
* NBA process, Developer Tab signs off. 5%
- B.S. Food Science or related field
- Three to five years of experience in the food or flavor industry or industry portfolio management.
- Proven laboratory skills and practices
- Good tasting ability
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize workload
- Knowledge and understanding of Focus II
- Ability to train Sales Collection process and procedures
- Independent thinker and decision maker.
- Working knowledge of current processes and procedures
- Knowledge of customer base and brands is a must for optimal submissions.
- Team player
- Project management skills
- Ability to Resolve Conflict or Escalate to Category as needed
- Understanding of Regulatory requirements
- Able to apply Regulatory requirements
- PC computer skills: Word, Excel.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The expected annual salary range for this position is USD $75,000.00 - USD $100,000.00. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance.
