The Ultrasound Technologist, Cardiac (or in less formal terms, the Echo Tech) is part of a dynamic team comprised of members of the Center for Cardiovascular Health. Join us in this per diem (M-F days – no weekends, holidays or call) opportunity to serve our community and provide first-class care, close to home.
Position Summary:
The Echo Tech will work collaboratively with the teams within the Center for Cardiovascular Health. Responsible for high quality imaging, care and safety of patients undergoing cardiac ultrasound procedures as outpatients as well as those in the Emergency Department and on the inpatient units. This position utilizes the latest in 3D echocardiogram technology and includes regular interaction and feedback from our Dartmouth affiliated Cardiologists. As standard, contribute to the maintaining records, development of reports, stocking supplies and organizing work schedule.
Qualifications:
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, or eligible, required. Experience in all areas of cardiac ultrasound.
