POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Nurse Administrator manages clinical and administrative operations in the hospital during off hours and weekends. Responsibilities require knowledge of hospital/nursing policies and procedures, excellent organizational and communication skills, and collaboration with the providers, staff, department directors and the administrator on-call. The Clinical Nurse Administrator oversees the flow of patients throughout the hospital and provides supervision and support to the hospital’s patient care areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program, BSN preferred
EXPERIENCE/SKILL SETS
- Proven leadership and time management skills required
- Emergency/Critical Care nursing experience preferred
- Clinical management experience preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION(S):
- Massachusetts RN license
- ACLS required
- PALS required
- NRP required within 6 months of hire
