Job Title: Registered Nurse – Women’s Services

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Monitor and assess patient health, manage care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Deliver care to a wide range of patient populations including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and adults.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures, including handling hazardous materials and exposure to bodily fluids.
• Support and educate patients and their families throughout the care process.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations with calm, competent care.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to manage physically demanding tasks, including frequent standing, walking, patient lifting/movement, and use of protective equipment.
• Comfort working in environments with exposure to biological and chemical hazards.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), or Handle with Care are a plus.
• Previous experience in women’s health or labor and delivery settings is advantageous.
