Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dental care to a diverse patient population, primarily children aged 3–21, with some adult patients.
- Conduct dental assessments, develop treatment plans, and perform procedures with a high standard of care.
- Collaborate with hygienists, dental assistants, and support staff to ensure efficient, quality service.
- Participate in daily team huddles to plan patient care, celebrate successes, and support a collaborative work culture.
- Engage in community-focused initiatives and activities that promote the positive mission and image of the practice.
- Use modern dental technology, including digital x-rays, Panorex units, and fiber-optic handpieces.
Requirements
- DDS/DMD from a program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Active and valid dental license in the state of practice (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current certifications in CPR and DEA registration.
- Nitrous Oxide certification, if applicable (required in some states: LA, MS, DC, TX, MA).
- Strong desire to provide care in a community-focused setting, especially to pediatric populations.
