Network SME Engineer (CCIE Certified)
Location: Hybrid Alpharetta, GA or New York City, NY (3 days onsite, local candidates only)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Client Expectation (2 4 Lines)
The client is seeking a senior Network SME with an active CCIE Lab certification to design, troubleshoot, and support complex enterprise, data center, and cloud networks. The role demands deep hands-on expertise in IPv4/IPv6, routing protocols, and migrations, with the ability to lead solution design and testing in a hybrid onsite environment.
Job Description
If you submit a candidate that has an active CCIE Lab Cert and can go onsite for the client eval, then you will most likely close this position!!! Please see the requirements below:
- Local only in New York City or Atlanta, GA for onsite client eval
- MUST HOLD AN ACTIVE CCIE LAB CERTIFICATION (it will have numbers at the end if it is a true CCIE lab cert)
- Please lock down your candidates to ensure they are interested in this role and will go onsite if selected for the client eval.
Must-Have Hands-On Skill Set (Technical & Functional / Experience Highlights)
- Active CCIE Lab Certification (Mandatory Routing & Switching or Service Provider)
- 10 12 years of senior network engineering experience
- Strong expertise in Routing & Switching, IPv4 / IPv6
- Deep hands-on experience with BGP, OSPF, STP, Multicast
- Experience with Cisco & Arista network platforms
- Hands-on with ISR, ASR1K, ASR9K, Catalyst 9K, Nexus 9K
- Overlay technologies: IPSEC, DMVPN, VXLAN
- Multicast protocols: IGMP v2/v3, PIM, RP Anycast
- Knowledge of Cisco ISE, TACACS, DNS, DHCP
- Cloud networking exposure
- Ansible experience is a strong plus
- Cabling & optics: 10G 100G
Salary : $70 - $80
