What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Project Manager position at Symphony Advancement?
The Education Project Manager (EPM) is an essential part of the leadership team serving parochial schools around the nation. The EPM is responsible for driving increase(s) in student enrollment, academic outcomes, learning and spiritual formation. Responsibilities of the Education Project Manager include: 1) onsite, in person, day-to-day oversight of student programming and support staff within a CCLC program, 2) development of technical and marketing content, 3) training and coaching.
The EPM is eligible for annual performances bonuses which range from $1,000 to $35,000 based on mutually agreed upon goals and objectives. Bonus compensation is in addition to the base rate of pay.
As the primary responsible party for onsite student programs, the EPM will interview, schedule and manage part-time support staff at a local parochial school. This includes oversight of curriculum and instructional plans, ensuring adequate staffing levels and ongoing evaluation of student and program outcomes. The EPM is responsible for budgeting, tracking and procurement related activities along with data entry and informational updates as directed by grant maker agencies. The EPM coordinates with school leadership in annual program goal setting and outcome reporting, recruitment/retention, enrollment, attendance monitoring, programming, learning assessments, and oversight of academic interventions, as well as fostering partnerships and community engagement. This hybrid position will require an onsite presence 20-25hrs weekly in addition to 20hrs of remote work. Preferred candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications.

Responsibilities
- Ensuring increased enrollment and retention in K5 to 8 parochial schools including CCLC school program settings
- Increasing student learning outcomes, faith formation & proficiency levels
- Assisting in transformation of struggling schools
- Passionately about the Gospel and Catholic education
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of youth programming
- Assists in youth assessment, evaluation and activity planning
- Assists in planning, organization and administration of daily activities by grade level
- Effectively records and manages attendance, behavior concerns and communicates with parents
- Oversees transportation and child pick up
- Coordinates with parents to ensure engagement in student learning process
- Provides quarterly update to Principal and School Advisory Board regarding program performance, attendance and expenses
- Monthly data entry including activity reports, outcomes and evaluation
- Preparation of annual review and assessment report
- Responsible for overall outreach, recruitment/retention, and registration of students
- Plans, develops and executes the Family Program (four times annually)
- Assures supervision of minors while on the parish/school grounds for formation
- Attends all pertinent meetings to ensure the carrying out the mission
- Maintains accurate records for programming and for Safeguarding all of God’s Children
- Maintains and tracks budget and all related expenses
- Ensure program compliance with any state or local regulatory requirements
- Development of engaging and effective marketing content to support marketing goals
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities Bachelor’s degree in (1) Marketing/Business, (2) Theology/Religious Education/Catechetics, or (3) an Education related field AND/OR a (4) certificate in Catholic catechesis or theology is desired OR equivalent volunteer experience. A degree is not required for this position. Supervisory experience, experience with children, youth and adults in formation or training is desired
ADA & Physical Requirements The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear. Close vision required for paperwork and computer. Able to utilize a computer keyboard, monitor, and telephone. This role functions in an office environment and uses standard office equipment. Ability to lift 20 pounds.
