Responsibilities
- Implement individualized care plans based on applied behavior analysis principles
- Assist clients in daily living activities, promoting independence and skill development
- Monitor and document client behavior and progress, maintaining accurate records
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust treatment strategies
- Provide support during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
- Educate clients and their families about behavioral health concepts and strategies
- Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Bilingual Spanish speaking
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and behavioral health practices is advantageous
- Familiarity with care plans and the principles of applied behavior analysis is essential
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to assist clients compassionately
