What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Alarm Project Coordinator position at Symons Fire Protection, Inc.?
SUMMARY:
Aids and supplements the project managers and fire alarm division manager in daily tasks, duties and responsibilities as listed below.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inputs all necessary data and set up accounts into Stages for AvantGuard.
- Telguard account setup
- Schedules all inspections for field crew via Accela and whatever methods are needed for various jurisdictions.
- Plan Submittals – full package – scanning – loading into BT – fees – collect files – CO plan check fees – submittal booklet – application – follow up – coordinating corrections and approval.
- Close out documents / Record of completion / Warranty Letter
- Set up monitoring agreements and update monitoring account sheet. Work with accounting.
- Change orders
- Get familiar with fire alarm estimator and estimating process – work alongside of estimating department.

Qualifications:Education, Experience, Knowledge:
AA degree from a college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
