About the Opportunity:
- 54 bed progressive care unit with an amazing 1:3 nurse to patient ratio!
- Focus upon cardiovascular advance care including treating pacemaker, open-heart surgery, cardiac Cath, and congestive heart failure patients.
- Expanding into vascular services including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Cohesive, collaborative, and supportive environment of peer managers and senior leadership
- Excellent comradery amongst the team
- The unit has two Assistant Managers (day and night shifts) and two Charge Nurse leaders.
- Excellent Nurse Assistant and Health Unit Coordinator support for the nurses

- At least 1-2 years of leadership experience as an assistant manager or manager, ideally in healthcare but will entertain leadership roles from other industries for applicants who have managed a team including hiring, mentoring, evaluations, and employee engagement.
- Must have RN experience in a cardiovascular or high acuity critical care unit.
- Exceptional and influential communication skills
- Energized by working through issues, establishing goals, and achieving positive results while managing new initiatives.
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s (preferred), with a commitment to obtaining your BSN and potentially your Masters if this should become a requirement by a regulatory agency
- BLS
- Strong focus on Performance Improvement and Patient Safety
- Experience in Staff Recruitment and Retention
