Job Summary

Operate equipment as assigned to ensure maximum production quantity and quality while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.

Minimum Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience:

None

Required Skills:

Works well in a team environment

Basic computer skills

Blueprint reading

Basic math

Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instruction

Use and understand required equipment to inspect product

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential duties and responsibilities outlined below include but are not limited to the following: Other duties may be assigned as needed and/or required.

· Report to the Department/Shift Supervisor or Lead Off.

· Work within the guidelines of the facilities current Business Management System.

· Safe and proper handling and use of all chemicals used for manufacturing.

· Must wear mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times where required.

· Must be able to safely operate all department equipment, this may include proper start up and shut down activities.

· Verify all safety guards are in place and functional daily.

· Operate equipment to maintain product and equipment conformance.

· Handle manufactured products properly to not cause damage

· Perform all required inspections and tasks for the process.

· Identify and react to out of control conditions, nonconforming product, and safety issues.

· Accurately report and record all daily production and activities.

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

· Communicate work information (quality concerns, safety issues, etc.) with others.

· Participate in continuous improvement projects as assigned.

· Perform other duties as required.
