Work Schedule:
- Monday,- Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- Weekends as needed
- Available for quarterly inventories
Responsibilities:
- Process and check in wholesale orders daily.
- Restock shelves with inventory and returns daily throughout pharmacy areas and restock shelves from overstock daily.
- Monitor and process returns of outdated, slow moving, and/or unused medications with wholesaler for credit.
- Work with wholesaler and pharmacy usage reports to establish par levels.
- Communicate product information, availability, and changes to pharmacy staff.
- Prepare and participate in quarterly physical inventory.
- Make suggestions to pharmacists for alternate product to fill a prescription.
- Communicate backorder problems to our customers and pharmacy staff.
- Prepare and manage returns process according to established policy.
- Any and all duties as assigned.
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Pharmacy Technician license and/or Certification (CPhT) as per State requirement.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and alternate shifts for PTO/staffing coverages as operational needs dictate.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFFERED:
- Pharmacy inventory experience; minimum one year.
- Pharmacy technician experience: long-term care setting
