Role Description
This is a part-time, afternoon / evening, on-site role for a Strength and Conditioning Coach. The Coach will oversee small group classes and private training sessions for athletes who have customized programs, focusing on enhancing athletic performance and injury prevention. Daily responsibilities include conducting strength training sessions, leading dynamic warm ups, implementing speed / agility/ plyo metric programs, monitoring progress, and providing education to athletes. The role involves close collaboration with athletes and fellow to ensure tailored and effective outcomes.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Strength & Conditioning and Strength Training
- Knowledge of Sports Science and its application to performance
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Science, Kinesiology, or a related field (preferred)
- Relevant certifications, such as CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist), are a plus, and required if no relevant Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with Athletic Performance enhancement and Injury Prevention
- Must have played sports competitively (High School minimum, College preferred).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively
