We are recruiting a Systems Engineer to join our team in Temecula, CA.

🎯 Your main missions will be the following:

• Design, develop, and implement complex systems and solutions into new or existing vehicle/energy platforms, ensuring alignment with performance and safety goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications, recommend appropriate action, own problem resolution and document results, drive technical improvements.
• Operate benches, design, run and analyze tests.
• Perform systems analysis and design review to ensure system architecture, performance, and safety requirements are met.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues and integration in complex fuel cell systems and vehicle platforms.
• Develop system documentation, including system configurations, diagrams, test plans, and user guides.
• Collaborate on system modeling, simulation, and risk analysis to anticipate issues and optimize system performance.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports on integration processes, system updates, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Work with R&D to assess new technologies, components, or methodologies that could enhance fuel cell system integration.

The profile we are looking for:

💼 Experience: At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing embedded systems and automation • Experience in automotive electric systems including high voltage components • Experience in system and component level testing and knowledge in sensors, data acquisition and analysis • Knowledge in multi-physics, fluid mechanics, thermal, electrical • Hands on experience with automotive communication protocols • Familiarity with automotive bootloader concepts • Knowledge of the ISO 26262 methodology

Our ideal candidate will have prior experience with Fuel Cell Systems and in managing teams of engineers.

💻 Computer Skills: • Model based development with MATLAB/Simulink • Proficient with Vector Tools: Vector CANape, CANAlyzer, CANoe • Proficiency in C/C , Python programming

💪Other Skills: • Excellent ability to work in a team in an agile environment • Excellent ability to take subjects and work on them independently and collaboratively • Willingness to learn and advance in a changing and new environment • Pro-activity in problem solving • High degree of organization • Leadership skills

🎓Education & Certifications: Bachelor's or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical, systems or a related field.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 USD to $150,000 USD. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
