We are recruiting a Systems Engineer to join our team in Temecula, CA.
π― Your main missions will be the following:
- Design, develop, and implement complex systems and solutions into new or existing vehicle/energy platforms, ensuring alignment with performance and safety goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications, recommend appropriate action, own problem resolution and document results, drive technical improvements.
- Operate benches, design, run and analyze tests.
- Perform systems analysis and design review to ensure system architecture, performance, and safety requirements are met.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve system issues and integration in complex fuel cell systems and vehicle platforms.
- Develop system documentation, including system configurations, diagrams, test plans, and user guides.
- Collaborate on system modeling, simulation, and risk analysis to anticipate issues and optimize system performance.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and reports on integration processes, system updates, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Work with R&D to assess new technologies, components, or methodologies that could enhance fuel cell system integration.
The profile we are looking for:
πΌ Experience: At least 5 years of experience in designing, developing and implementing embedded systems and automation β’ Experience in automotive electric systems including high voltage components β’ Experience in system and component level testing and knowledge in sensors, data acquisition and analysis β’ Knowledge in multi-physics, fluid mechanics, thermal, electrical β’ Hands on experience with automotive communication protocols β’ Familiarity with automotive bootloader concepts β’ Knowledge of the ISO 26262 methodology
Our ideal candidate will have prior experience with Fuel Cell Systems and in managing teams of engineers.
π» Computer Skills: β’ Model based development with MATLAB/Simulink β’ Proficient with Vector Tools: Vector CANape, CANAlyzer, CANoe β’ Proficiency in C/C , Python programming
πͺOther Skills: β’ Excellent ability to work in a team in an agile environment β’ Excellent ability to take subjects and work on them independently and collaboratively β’ Willingness to learn and advance in a changing and new environment β’ Pro-activity in problem solving β’ High degree of organization β’ Leadership skills
πEducation & Certifications: Bachelor's or masterβs degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electrical, systems or a related field.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 USD to $150,000 USD. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
