Job Description Summary
TheAdministrative Assistantis responsible forcoordinating andexecuting ona variety of projects assigned by theSupervisor.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
Manage projects as assigned by the Executive Director
Communicates effectively on the telephone with patients,familiesand staff.
Provide support for device users with basic set up and troubleshooting.
Maintain business office equipment;assistusers with questions, concerns, and problem-solving.Order supplies.
Responsible forassistingwithaudits of patient information.
Maintainsaccuratemailing lists of employees; patients; volunteers, Medical Directors,physiciansand nursing facilities andforwardsany changes to the Resource Office.
Performs other necessary functions/duties as assigned by theExecutive Director.
Participates in andassistswith community activities, i.e., health fairs, conventions, community education programs, etc. as assigned by Program Director, Director of Nursing and/or Administrator.

Position Qualifications
Minimum of high school education; preferably with secretarial and computer background.
General knowledge of spelling, punctuation, grammar, medicalrecordsand office procedures.
Basic knowledge of office machines.
Basic knowledge of telephone skills.
