Speech and Language Therapist

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities using standardized tools and clinical observations
• Develop individualized treatment plans targeting specific communication or swallowing challenges
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to facilitate progress in speech and language skills
• Collaborate with educators, medical professionals, families, and caregivers to support patient goals and ensure continuity of care
• Provide early intervention services for pediatric clients to promote developmental milestones in communication skills
• Educate patients and their families about strategies to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, or swallowing safety
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations

Experience

• Prior experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist in school settings or pediatric clinics is highly desirable
• Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric speech therapy techniques and early intervention practices
• Familiarity with physiology related to speech production and swallowing mechanisms
• Strong skills in patient assessment, including the use of standardized testing tools and observational methods
• Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and anatomy knowledge for accurate diagnosis
• Experience working with diverse populations requiring tailored therapy approaches for speech therapy needs
• Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, educators, and healthcare teams to foster collaborative care

Pay: $85.00 - $95.00 per hour
