Duties

- Develop individualized treatment plans targeting specific communication or swallowing challenges
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to facilitate progress in speech and language skills
- Collaborate with educators, medical professionals, families, and caregivers to support patient goals and ensure continuity of care
- Provide early intervention services for pediatric clients to promote developmental milestones in communication skills
- Educate patients and their families about strategies to improve speech clarity, language comprehension, or swallowing safety
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare regulations
Experience
- Prior experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist in school settings or pediatric clinics is highly desirable
- Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric speech therapy techniques and early intervention practices
- Familiarity with physiology related to speech production and swallowing mechanisms
- Strong skills in patient assessment, including the use of standardized testing tools and observational methods
- Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to speech-language pathology and anatomy knowledge for accurate diagnosis
- Experience working with diverse populations requiring tailored therapy approaches for speech therapy needs
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, families, educators, and healthcare teams to foster collaborative care
