Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with various disabilities and medical conditions, providing therapeutic interventions to improve their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to help patients improve their ability to perform daily activities
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
- Assist in discharge planning and recommend adaptive equipment as needed
- Work with patients in diverse settings such as clinics, acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and home health environments
Skills
- Proficient in conducting patient evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Experience in care for individuals with disabilities and medical conditions
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques is a plus
- Ability to work in interdisciplinary teams for case management
- Strong communication skills for effective patient care and collaboration
- Familiarity with ICU and acute care settings is beneficial
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
