We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Specialist to join our growing team in California. In this role, you will work directly with students, staff, and families to promote emotional wellness, provide counseling support, and implement mental health interventions within the school setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing emotional, behavioral, and social challenges.
- Develop and implement mental health and behavioral support plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and special education staff.
- Conduct crisis intervention and risk assessments when needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ participation in the learning environment.
- Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation in compliance with school and district policies.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of social-emotional goals when applicable.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff on mental health and behavior support strategies.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field.
- Valid California license or credential (one of the following required):
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
- Licensed Clinical Psychologist
- OR Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology or School Counseling

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
