The Academic Advisor is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing the full customer lifecycle—from initial inquiry through enrollment and ongoing program engagement.
This role serves as the primary point of contact for families, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience from the first conversation through continued enrollment.
Academic Advisors work closely with Education Directors, who oversee instructional programming and academic planning, while maintaining ownership of the overall relationship, communication, and customer experience.
Academic Advisors may manage a portfolio that spans multiple centers, requiring the ability to communicate effectively with families both in person and through virtual platforms such as Zoom.
What You’ll DoDrive New Enrollment (Sales Ownership)· Manage the full lead funnel from inquiry to enrollment
· Conduct enrollment conferences and recommend appropriate programs
· Convert inquiries into enrolled students through consultative sales
· Consistently meet or exceed individual and regional revenue goals
Own the Family Relationship (Portfolio Management)· Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned families
· Maintain ongoing communication and visibility throughout the student’s enrollment
· Participate in key parent meetings and check-ins to maintain continuity and trust
· Ensure families feel supported and connected throughout their experience
· Conduct meetings with families both in person and via Zoom, maintaining a high level of professionalism and clarity
Drive Retention & Growth· Review student status and identify families who may need additional support or sessions
· Proactively reach out to families to address concerns and recommend program adjustments
· Partner with Education Directors to align academic plans with customer expectations
· Identify and close opportunities for program extensions and upgrades
What We’re Looking For· Bachelor’s degree required
· 3 years of experience in sales, account management, or client-facing roles
· Proven ability to close sales and manage ongoing client relationships
· Ability to maintain ongoing client relationships beyond the initial sale
· Strong consultative communication skills with the ability to build trust with families
· Results-driven mindset with strong ownership over revenue goals
· Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities independently
· Strong presentation skills, with the ability to lead professional meetings both in person and via Zoom across multiple locations
