Overview
Sylvan Learning Center of Montgomeryville is seeking a high-performing sales leader to drive enrollment growth, lead center operations, and deliver an exceptional customer experience for families.
This is a revenue-focused leadership role responsible for converting inquiries into enrollments, building relationships with families, and owning the overall performance of the center.
The ideal candidate thrives in a consultative sales environment, is comfortable discussing high-value services, and is motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Enrollment Leadership (Primary Focus)
- Own the full sales cycle from initial inquiry through enrollment
- Conduct consultative sales conversations with parents to understand needs and recommend learning programs
- Present Sylvan programs as a high-value investment in a child’s future
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly enrollment and revenue goals
- Follow up on leads, manage pipeline, and drive conversion rates
- Ensure all phone, online, and walk-in inquiries are handled quickly and professionally
Customer Experience
- Deliver a high-touch, personalized experience for every family
- Build trust and long-term relationships with parents
- Communicate student progress and reinforce the value of Sylvan programs
- Maintain high retention and customer satisfaction
Operations & Team Leadership
- Manage day-to-day center operations
- Hire, train, and coach front desk and instructional staff
- Lead team performance to meet sales, service, and operational goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional center environment
Financial Performance
- Own center-level P&L performance
- Manage revenue, expenses, and collections
- Monitor key performance indicators including:
- Lead conversion rates
- Enrollment growth
- Student retention
Marketing & Community Outreach
- Execute local marketing initiatives to drive leads
- Build relationships with schools, parent groups, and community organizations
- Represent the center at local events and networking opportunities
Academic Partnership
- Partner with the Director of Education to ensure strong instructional quality
- Support communication between families and instructional staff
- Ensure programs are delivered in alignment with Sylvan standards
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of sales, consultative sales, or client-facing experience
- Proven ability to close sales and meet or exceed revenue targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized and results-driven
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends
Strongly Preferred (Ideal Backgrounds)
- Experience in:
- Consultative sales (fitness, weight loss, membership, or service-based sales)
- High-end retail (jewelry, luxury goods, or commission sales)
- Inside sales or enrollment-based roles
- Experience managing a sales pipeline or CRM system
- Leadership or team management experience
